GEM 2020 – Online edition

DESCRIPTION

GEM (Green Energy Management) Summer School offers an exciting and experience in the context of circular economy with a particular focus on climate change and environmental issues. The main aim of GEM is to provide international students with a context sensitive first-class training in the field of Green Energy Management and renewable resources.

In the past editions of GEM, students from all over the world (East and West Europe, Africa, Asia, South America) have shared classrooms and field experience, making connections and proposing new projects. After the past editions in Europe, Asia and Central Asia. GEM is managed by the GEM Network, a pool of scientists and professionals, who started since 2013 with a wide project on Green Energy in the educational and research sector. All our teachers have a wide experience in energy management, both conventional and renewable, and are perfectly aware of their mission in communicating knowledge and skills. After an overview of the world energy scenario, GEM2020 will offer on-line classrooms and discussions on recycling organic waste, biofuels, hydro production, wind and sun, circular economy issues, finance for the climate change. Our vision is ambitious. We are just a drop, but as the drop may dig the rock, little by little we may help changing our world in a sustainable and liveable one.
