DESCRIPTION
The aim of GEM (Green Energy Management) Winter School is to provide international students with a context sensitive first-class training in the field of Green Energy Management and renewable resources. GEM 2018 – Winter Edition – will be hosted by Universidad de La Laguna in the island of Tenerife (Spain).
Renewable energy production as well as water management and recycling in agriculture will be discussed in the context of circular economy with a particular focus on vulnerable environments. An introductory broad overview of the world green energy scenario will be followed by specific experiences in different regions of the world. Elements of Energy Finance, for electricity markets and energy projects, will be given. International leading scientists and industrial and institutional partners will be part of the teaching staff, bringing and sharing their experience. A visit to local research laboratories on renewables in Tenerife will be organized. GEM 2018 will allow students and teachers to gather and share common experience, for a world sustainable future.
